BACK ON THE ROAD AGAIN. Can't you just hear ol' Willy singing away.
Riverton is a great place to ride my moped. It is pretty flat for the most part. I just have to be on the lookout for all the big diesel trucks that sit 6 feet off the ground and have dogs in the back. They are all over the place.
Yesterday Cindy & I saw 25 mule deer gathered next to the road. We watched as 2 of them crossed the road to join some others nibbling at vegetation in someone's front yard. I've heard people say that "the deer eat my flowers" well now I've seen it.
Did you know there is an oil boom going on in North Dakota? My next door neighbor along with a number of others from here drive to North Dakota to work for 20 days a month then come back for 10 days. Wow! You go where the work is.
Laura, Lily & Ben are coming here Wednesday. BJ joins them here for the weekend. He is working around Casper (2 hours from here) this week and the next. We are really looking forward to their visit.
Cindy and I are getting more settled. One room is filled with boxes and pictures to be hung so we are not totally settled but we have made progress. The welcome mat is out.
Church is great. The people have been so welcoming. I am slowly making visits to everyone. Recently I launched our church website. It is a work in progress but it is up and running. You can see it at http://stjohnlutheranriverton.weebly.com.
Tonight I weeded along side my driveway. It must be 50 feet long and it was full of weeds. The people we bought our house from didn't take care of their house/yard. Well little by little we are tightening screws in cupboard doors, mowing the grass, weeding, scrubbing walls, etc.
Well enough of my ramblings. We are fine here. Come and visit.
