The anticipation is palpable.
About a year ago we decided to actually book a vacation. There are a number of places we want to still see so Cindy got busy looking. We settled on the fjords of Norway. We invited family members to go with us and ended up with my sisters Becky and Barb going with us. We settled on this trip.
Viking River Cruises was offering free airfare since this is their 25th anniversary so we decided to add this to our itinerary.
Tomorrow, we fly to Frankfurt, Germany then on to Basel, Switzerland where we board our boat Viking Njord. We sail from Basel, Switzerland to Amsterdam, Netherlands. After our 1 day in Amsterdam we fly to Oslo, Norway and meet up with my sisters for that adventure.
We have both been watching YouTube videos about packing. We also check the weather daily to help with deciding what to pack.
