I read this post and felt like I was there. New Mexico sure is beautiful, and it seems like there's so many hidden jems around there. I sure do miss our picnics and days at the park of long ago. They were definately a big part of my childhood. I just wish that we could do that kind of stuff when I come to visit, but it's always in the winter so alas. Very cool trip though! I sure hope I can do that kind of stuff later in life.
